Title: CAD Designer & Drafter Location: Toronto, ON (On-site)
Job Summary: Looking for an experienced CAD Designer & Drafter to support mechanical design, drafting, and engineering documentation activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with 3D CAD modeling, manufacturing drawings, GD&T, and engineering change processes.
Key Responsibilities: Create and modify 3D part and assembly models using CAD software Develop 2D manufacturing and assembly drawings with GD&T per ASME Y14.5 standards Support design changes, revisions, ECN/ECO updates, and documentation Perform reverse engineering from existing components or legacy drawings Prepare and update BOMs, drawings, and engineering documentation Maintain CAD files, revisions, and version control within PDM/PLM systems
Required Skills: Strong experience with 3D CAD modeling & drafting Experience creating manufacturing drawings and assemblies Knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) Experience with BOM creation and engineering change documentation Familiarity with PDM/PLM systems
