Role Description The Flux Core Welder role at HRC Global Services is a full-time, on-site position based in Greater Sudbury, ON. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing flux core welding operations on various materials, interpreting blueprints and welding specifications, and setting up, operating, and maintaining welding equipment. The role involves inspecting welds for quality and adherence to safety and industry standards, making adjustments as needed to achieve required tolerances. The Flux Core Welder will collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production targets, follow safe work practices, and maintain a clean, organized work area. Documentation of work performed and communication of any equipment or material issues are also part of the daily tasks. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Welding skills, with specific experience in flux core welding processes. Candidates should possess Arc Welding and MIG Welding skills for working with different joint types and project requirements. Candidates should possess TIG Welding skills for precision work when needed. Candidates should possess knowledge of Materials, including properties of metals and appropriate filler materials. Relevant trade certification or apprenticeship in welding is preferred. Experience in industrial, construction, or manufacturing environments is an asset. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols. Strong commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and teamwork. Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in various positions.
