United Electrical Systems Ltd. is looking for apprentice electricians at all levels. Ideally, suitable applicants will have their foundations program or some relevant work experience in the construction industry. We specialize in commercial projects, typically in office, retail, restaurant, and institutional settings. We do not do high-rise or tower projects or residential work. We generally aim for day shift, Monday to Friday schedules with some overtime, evening, and weekend opportunities available for those individuals looking for extra hours and income. United Electrical is a smaller company that utilizes smaller project teams typically with 1:1 journeymen:apprentice ratios. Our job sites generally range from 2-6 staff. A short duration project may be a matter of days and longer projects can extend for several months. We do stress the importance of location flexibility and willingness to work at various sites. We are looking for individuals who are highly motivated and interested in achieving an electrical CAREER, not just a job. We also offer benefits (health, dental, etc.). Paid on-site parking is included for all projects, consumable tool allowances are provided. Willing applicants should have:

-Valid drivers license and reliable transportation

-Already be located in Metro Vancouver and be willing to work anywhere in Metro Vancouver (West Vancouver to Abbotsford)

-Punctual, reliable, responsible, honest, and motivated to work on ones own or in a small team

-Be willing to learn additional and new skills including how to handle, run, and prepare job sites (part of becoming a skilled journey person)

-Have their own hand tools and cordless drill

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $21.00-$42.00 per hour
