About the role
We are looking for a Head of Central Quality Management who will report to the CTO and will be responsible for managing BRP’s central quality function. As part of your role, you will significantly contribute to the organization's growth and play a key role in shaping this newly created position from the ground up.
You will be responsible for defining, continuously steering, and reviewing the overall quality strategy. This is a unique opportunity to build and structure a central quality function from a blank slate.
YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Provide overarching, product lifecycle quality guidance across the organization as a strategic, value-adding partner
Define, continuously steer, and review the overall quality strategy, including clear KPIs, target setting, and quality standards
Drive end-to-end closed-loop quality, from field insights to development, to production improvements, and back
Establish and manage a group-wide KPI system aligned with closed-loop quality, ensuring transparency and comparability
Define and govern quality standards and methods (QMS, NPD gates, FMEA, audits, inspection & feedback loops)
Empower the organization to effectively deploy standards and methods through tailored communication and training
Ensure cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing and Service
Enforce governance, escalation processes, and decision rights, including veto authority on critical quality topics (e.g., gate releases, major issues)
Identify systemic weaknesses and drive enterprise-level improvements
Lead, mentor, and develop a team to achieve operational and strategic objectives
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management or related field
10-15+ years experience in quality leadership within automotive / industrial environment
Proven experience leading a team
Proven track record in QMS, KPI systems and cross-functional governance
Experience operating at a corporate or multi-business unit level
Strong understanding of the product lifecycle (from development to field) and quality methodologies
Proficiency in French and English is required as you will collaborate with Rotax and other external partners.
