About the role
Preliminary sizing of equipment, optimization techniques, estimation of capital and operating costs, heat-exchanger networks, pressure vessels, and computer-based process design tools. Students work individually and in teams on process design projects that draw on knowledge gained in previous courses, concepts taught in class and information available in the literature.Graduate degree or equivalent experience required. P.Eng or EIT required. This positing is for the industry mentor position. Preference in competition will be to persons with right of first refusal for the course. Other applicants will be considered if no persons with right of first refusal apply for the position. The instructors are required to provide assessment data on course learning outcomes meeting department specifications.
