Field Service Technician 📍 Greater Vancouver Region (Remote/Field-Based with National Travel up to 75%)

I'm partnering with a leading provider of critical power solutions to recruit a Field Service Technician.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on electrical professional with experience in switchgear, power distribution, control systems, or critical power equipment. You'll be responsible for commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer support across a variety of mission-critical installations. The role will initially support a major project before transitioning into nationwide travel.

Key Responsibilities Lead installation, start-up, testing, and commissioning of low and medium voltage power systems. Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on switchgear, ATS, and control systems. Support upgrade, modernization, and commissioning projects. Act as a trusted technical resource for customers on-site. Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to customer specifications.

Requirements Experience within field service, electrical power systems, or critical infrastructure environments. Knowledge of switchgear, automatic transfer switches (ATS), power distribution, or industrial controls. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Ability and willingness to travel extensively. Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
