About the role

Growth Engineer

iTmethods · New Business Unit

Partners daily with the CEO and CRO on key deliverables · Toronto / Canada — hybrid or remote · Full-time · first growth-engineering hire for the new BU

An AI-native builder who owns high-velocity agentic GTM, demand, and growth supporting some of our high priority initiatives within our Forge and Reign product product portfolios. You design the strategy, orchestrate multi-agent workflows, run the Claude agents, and ship the autonomous pipeline end-to-end. Multiple products. Many launches. One operator behind it all. CEO and CRO are your direct partners. Decisions in hours, not weeks.

Enterprise AI. Governed.

Why this role exists

iTmethods is a 21-year profitable enterprise platform company that has fully rebooted as AI-native. We are shipping and relaunching multiple products this year — Forge (AI governance and modern DevOps), Reign (enterprise AI governance), and more to follow. We sell into highly regulated enterprises in financial services, healthcare, pharma, defense, and semiconductors.

This is a high-velocity, initiative-focused role built for executive speed. You will own the agentic GTM motion across every product launch and relaunch on a modern agent-powered stack that is already live. No middle-management layer. No committees. You report directly to the CRO and partner daily with the CEO.

What you'll own

  • The number — You own marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipeline across the full portfolio, end-to-end.
  • Agentic launch motion — You design and run autonomous demand engineering for every product launch and relaunch. New initiatives kick off quarterly; you orchestrate the agentic playbook and compound it launch after launch.
  • The stack — You configure, automate, and orchestrate multi-agent workflows in HubSpot lifecycle, Clay enrichment, Claude agents and skills, ZoomInfo data backbone, plus our internal Campaign Manager and Sales Manager surfaces.
  • Data discipline — Encoded ICP per product, clean living segments, and continuous scoring so "Is this our target account for Product X?" always has a defensible answer.
  • Governed execution — Every agent and workflow runs inside Reign's governance envelope — audit-ready by default. Our own demand engine becomes a public reference for the governed agentic AI we sell.

You build and orchestrate agentic systems yourself (not by briefing others). You leverage our internal AI operating system — SalesSA for governed agent execution, gbrain for persistent knowledge, Campaign Manager and Sales Manager as your surfaces, all already in production. When you need deeper integrations or new agent capabilities, the same engineering team that ships Reign and Forge works alongside you.

You operate at executive cadence with a direct line to the CEO and CRO. You are comfortable as a team of one who scales through autonomous agents first and headcount second. Light code (TypeScript/Python at read-and-modify level, JSON-LD/YAML at author level) and strong writing and analytical skills are daily requirements. Precision and trust over noise — because we sell into banks, hospitals, and defense.

Your first 30 days · AI-native cadence

We move at AI-native speed. The first month is three tight sprints.

Week 1–2 · Wire — agentic engine live

  • Encode ICP per product into scored, living segments
  • Wire HubSpot lifecycle, Clay + ZoomInfo enrichment, and multi-agent Claude workflows
  • Build measurement framework and pipeline targets per launch

Week 3 · Ship — first wave to market

  • Agentic launch playbook live on the first two product motions
  • Always-on nurture activated per ICP segment via autonomous agents
  • Content engine connected (lead magnets, Substack, owned channels)

Week 4 · Compound — reusable agentic playbook

  • Trigger-based ABM live on regulatory events (EU AI Act, SR 26-2, DORA, FDA PCCP)
  • Reliable MQLSQL handoff into Sales Manager
  • Documented, reusable agentic launch playbook so each subsequent product accelerates

Who you are · must-haves

  • AI-native builder, not AI-curious manager. You have personally shipped production agentic workflows (Claude, OpenAI, or equivalent) — you write your own prompts, compose skills, and connect MCP tools yourself.
  • Hands-on fluency with HubSpot (or Salesforce) plus a modern enrichment/outbound stack (Clay-class tools + ZoomInfo or equivalent). You configure and orchestrate the agentic system; you don't brief vendors.
  • Built and owned demand-gen or growth at a B2B enterprise or regulated-industry SaaS company.
  • Light code comfort (TypeScript/Python read-and-modify + JSON-LD/YAML author level) to ship and debug agentic integrations without waiting on engineering.
  • You write, build, and analyze — copy, agentic workflows, segments, attribution, dashboards. Not a vendor manager or brand strategist.
  • Track record selling into long, regulated enterprise sales cycles where trust is the gate.

Bonus

  • Background in FSI, healthcare/pharma, or defense GTM
  • ABM and land-and-expand experience
  • Shipped Claude skills, MCP integrations, or agentic GTM workflows previously
  • Content-led or community-led growth experience
  • New-BU scrappiness and comfort with greenfield ambiguity
  • Familiarity with AI governance, compliance, or DevOps buyers

What success looks like (6 months)

  • Growing, predictable marketing-sourced pipeline across every product you operate on
  • Three product launches executed through the agentic playbook, each hitting initial pipeline targets inside 30 days
  • Reusable agentic campaign and nurture machinery — owned in code and workflows — that compounds launch-to-launch
  • Efficient, governed motion: sane CAC, fast payback, fully audit-ready — living proof the agentic GTM model works

Why iTmethods, why now

We are profitable, founder-led, and 21 years deep in regulated enterprise. Now we have rebooted AI-native and are creating the AI governance category with Forge and Reign. You will own the agentic GTM function from the ground up, with a CEO and CRO who treat GTM as a first-class engineering problem. You get our full internal AI operating system, a dark factory that ships new agent capability daily, and an engineering team that builds alongside you. Most growth engineers operate alone. You will not.

Compensation

Competitive base + pipeline-tied variable of ~30% + meaningful LTI participation upon successful execution. Benchmarked against Toronto B2B SaaS and North American AI-native growth-engineering roles.

How to apply

Send a short note to careers@itmethods.com. Include one example of an agentic workflow, agent, or campaign you personally built (not briefed) that produced measurable pipeline. A short paragraph + link beats a long resume.

Two questions we'll ask in the first conversation:

Walk us through a Claude or OpenAI skill you shipped in the last 90 days. Show us a HubSpot or Clay agentic workflow you built yourself.

The fine print

  • Active, funded role. We are hiring now.
  • We use AI-assisted tools for screening and scheduling; final decisions are made by humans.
  • Candidates reaching final interview receive a decision within 45 days.
  • iTmethods is an equal-opportunity employer. We hire on merit and what you have built. Canadian work experience not required.
