What You'll Be Doing Develop and maintain short- and long-term mine plans to support safe, efficient, and productive underground operations. Provide technical expertise in mine planning, rock mechanics, ventilation, surveying, and environmental monitoring. Design underground development, stoping, and drilling and blasting plans to optimize ore recovery and production. Collaborate with geology, operations, and technical teams to improve mine performance and support operational goals. Monitor underground systems, analyze operational data, and prepare engineering reports while ensuring regulatory and environmental compliance. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and provide engineering support for day-to-day mine operations with a strong commitment to safety. Who You Are Bachelor's Degree in Mine Engineering or equivalent education with a specialization in mine planning and/or rock mechanics. 5-10 years of underground mining experience. Strong knowledge of mine planning, ventilation, environmental monitoring, surveying, and underground mining methods. Experience applying rock mechanics principles and interpreting geotechnical instrumentation data. Proficiency with AutoCAD and mine planning software such as Promine or similar industry applications. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
