What’s in it for you? • Industry Leading Wage: $70.19 - 77.99/h • Continuous Shift Premium: $3.50/h • Night Shift Premium: $3.50/h • Continuous Shift: 7x7 • Vacation and flex/sick time in year one! • Premium camp and customer flights provided • 75% Employer paid medical benefits • Share Purchase options (with matching) and Employer paid Pension • Employee Rewards – exclusive access to discounts and perks • CAT Dealer Training Job Description: Major Job Functions: Troubleshoot and repair and maintain Caterpillar mining equipment Perform field diagnosis and field running repairs Large scale overhauls and rebuilds Component replacements Utilize Caterpillar SIS and ET daily Complete technical documentation (service reports, warranty, crossover notes) Interact with customers, sales support, and the rest of the Finning team Qualifications: Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) Certification Experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic Strong field troubleshooting skills on the Caterpillar mining product line required for field based positions Valid class 5 driver’s license with a successful recent drivers abstract required Important Details: This position is on a 7x7 continuous days/nights shift rotation (C crew) based out of our CNRL facility A condition of employment is the ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol, fitness testing) and wear a respirator where applicable Camp and flights provided from Edmonton or Calgary Candidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current collective agreement Any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement Union Membership: You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position. This will be effective immediately and will result in union dues being deducted from your pay. The terms and conditions of your employment will be governed by the collective agreement.
