About the role
Love the outdoors? Tired of being stuck behind a desk? Join the team that protects the Canadian harvest.
At Flaman, we don’t just sell equipment; we protect the harvest. We keep farmers moving and their operations running at peak efficiency. We are looking for a Grain Monitoring Specialist; a "road warrior" who is technically savvy, observant, and ready to take their career to new heights (literally).
Why You’ll Love Working at Flaman:
- Autonomy & Adventure: Manage your own schedule and travel across the province. No two days are the same.
- Competitive Pay & Full Benefits: Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage.
- Retirement Ready: Group pension plan with employer matching.
- Growth: We provide the "cutting-edge" tech; you provide the drive. We value people who want to make things better.
What Your Day Will Look Like:
- On-the-Road Tech: Travel to various farms and facilities across Saskatchewan to install and maintain advanced grain monitoring hardware.
- A New Perspective: You’ll regularly climb grain bins to inspect sensors and storage conditions, providing a bird's-eye view of the operation.
- Data-Driven Impact: Use software to analyze grain quality and help farmers make smart decisions to prevent spoilage.
- Problem Solving: Be the go-to person for troubleshooting hardware and software in the field.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Physical Agility: You are comfortable with heights, climbing bins, and working outdoors in the beautiful (and sometimes unpredictable) Saskatchewan weather.
- Technical Curiosity: You have a basic understanding of electrical concepts or wiring (or you’re a natural "tinkerer" who learns fast).
- Ag Experience: Knowledge of agronomy or grain management is a major plus, but we also value hands-on experience in related trades or farm operations.
- Independence: You’re a self-starter who thrives when working solo but knows how to stay connected with the home base.
- Reliability: You have a valid driver’s license and a "safety-first" mindset.
Your Next Move Starts Here
If you have a passion for agricultural technology and aren't afraid of a little heights, we want to hear from you.
