Why Join North Mountain Construction? · Competitive salary · Extended health and dental benefits. · Professional development opportunities. · Opportunities for advancement within a growing company. · Paid time off including holiday office closure · Supportive and inclusive team environment What You’ll Be Doing · Promote and maintain a strong safety-first culture across all projects. · Provide daily safety support to project teams, supervisors, and subcontractors. · Conduct site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments. · Ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations and COR requirements. · Lead orientations, toolbox talks, and safety meetings. · Investigate incidents, injuries, and near misses. · Maintain safety records, training logs, and reports. · Support return-to-work and injury management programs. What You Bring to the Role · Minimum 3–5 years of construction safety experience. · Strong understanding of WorkSafeBC regulations and BC construction safety requirements. · Valid Class 5 Driver's License. · NCSO, CSO, CRSP, COR Auditor, or equivalent designation preferred. · Occupational Health & Safety Diploma or Certificate preferred.

Estimated Salary This role offers an annual salary between $75,000 and $90,000, depending on experience and qualifications, with final compensation thoughtfully tailored in the offer stage. Working Conditions and Environment · Your primary work environment will be construction work sites. · Site-based. This is not a hybrid or remote role. · Office location is 342 2nd Avenue, Fernie BC with potential for work-related travel. Interested in Joining Us?
