Who are we?

Chrono Aviation was founded in Quebec City in 2012. In its early days, the airline operated a Pilatus PC-12 and employed two pilots. Chrono quickly attracted clients seeking a comfortable, efficient, and safe flying experience.

After a decade in business, Chrono Aviation has expanded its fleet to 12 aircraft and employs over 200 people. Chrono is a Quebec-based airline offering planes that can accommodate between 9 and 189 passengers, exclusively for charter flights. With bases in Montreal and Quebec City, Chrono continues its expansion, reinforcing its position as a leader in the charter flight industry in Quebec and Canada.

Role and context

The 705 Fleet Maintenance Planner is responsible for the detailed planning of maintenance work for the Chrono Jet fleet. The incumbent ensures schedules are met, resources are available, and all work complies with approved maintenance programs.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan preventive and corrective maintenance tasks in accordance with the approved maintenance program

  • Prepare technical work packages in coordination with maintenance teams

  • Analyze schedules, aircraft availability, and operational constraints

  • Maintain maintenance management systems up to date (CAMP, Envision, etc.)

  • Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and stores departments

  • Review applicable service bulletins and airworthiness directives

  • Create work orders and assign priorities

  • Produce compliance and due-date reports

  • Participate in the continuous improvement of planning processes

  • Ensure traceability and archiving of planned work

Specific job requirements

  • Training in aircraft maintenance or planning (DEC, AEC, or equivalent)

  • 2 to 5 years of maintenance planning experience on 705-category aircraft

  • Knowledge of the Boeing 737 NG maintenance program (an asset)

  • Proficiency with CAMP, Envision, or other planning software

  • Knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) – Part V

  • Strong Excel and analytical tool skills

  • Ability to collaborate with multiple departments simultaneously

  • Fluency in French is required for this position. In addition, advanced English proficiency is also required in order to interact with English-speaking clients across Canada and internationally.
