Key Responsibilities Lead Alpha IQ Development: Drive the end-to-end development of Alpha IQ’s AI/ML features and MVP. Coordinate Agile sprints and prioritize tasks across a small, cross-functional team. AI/ML Engineering: Design, implement and optimize core machine learning models for deal scoring, rating and risk analysis. Leverage data to generate confidence scores on deals (data transparency, financial health, risk profiles) and predict outcomes with high precision. Investor-Founder Matching: Develop sophisticated matching algorithms that connect founders (issuers) with investors (allocators). Implement AI-driven matchmaking across VC/PE/M&A networks, enabling precise alignment of investment criteria and interests. Copilot & Insights Tools: Build “copilot” features – real-time AI alerts and recommendations for users. Create automated investment reports and intelligence dashboards (market sentiment, trend forecasts, etc.) to provide data-backed insights. Pipeline Automation: Automate the dealflow (CRM) pipeline end-to-end – from sourcing to execution. Develop AI workflows for tracking, prioritizing, and suggesting deals, and implement blockchain-based smart contract generation to automate secure deal completion. Infrastructure & Integration: Ensure our backend data infrastructure is AI-ready. Integrate third-party AI/ML services (e.g. OpenAI/GPT and other ML APIs) and deploy proprietary models into production. Oversee data pipelines, model training/validation, and performance testing. Collaboration: Work closely with frontend engineers and product leads to translate product requirements into AI solutions. Communicate complex ML concepts to stakeholders and iterate on feedback. Qualifications Technical Expertise: 5+ years of experience building production-quality AI/ML systems. Strong programming skills in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.). Proven ability to design, train and deploy models (NLP, predictive analytics, deep learning) at scale. AI/ML Skills: Hands-on experience with large language models or transformer architectures (e.g. OpenAI/GPT, BERT, etc.) is a plus. Familiarity with data engineering (ETL, databases, big data tools) and cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure) required. Domain Knowledge (ideal): Background in finance, fintech or experience with investment or CRM applications. Understanding of private capital workflows (VC/PE/M&A) and distributed ledger concepts is highly desirable. Leadership & Communication: Proven track record of leading technical projects or teams. Excellent communication skills with the ability to mentor others and collaborate in a fast-paced startup environment. Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and an entrepreneurial mindset are a must. US Eligibility: This role is open only to U.S.-based candidates (remote). You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. as an independent contractor.
