CONCRETE PUMP OPERATOR

BAUER Foundations Canada is looking for a Concrete Pump Operator for ongoing projects in and around the lower mainland in BC.

PAY RANGE

The pay range for this position is $34 - $43 per hour. Wages depend on experience.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Concrete Pump Operator is responsible for the safe setup, operation, maintenance, and cleanup of concrete pumping equipment on active construction sites. Working as part of a small, specialized crew, this role supports deep foundation and ground improvement operations across a variety of complex projects.

• Safely perform mixing of bentonite/polymer slurries and pouring of concrete
• Set up outriggers, hoses, and pumping systems in accordance with site and manufacturer requirements
• Coordinate with site supervisors, operators, and labourers
• Monitor pumping operations and adjust equipment as required to ensure safe and efficient concrete placement
• Maintain safe work zones around pumping equipment and active construction areas
• Perform cleaning, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of pump systems and components
• Complete required inspection records, maintenance logs, and related documentation
• Follow company safety procedures and site-specific requirements at all times

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

• Certified Concrete Pump Operator (CCPO) certification required
• Previous experience in civil construction, deep foundations or ground improvement would be an asset
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a small crew environment
• Must have a valid BC drivers license and reliable transportation.
• Construction Safety Training System (CSTS-2020), First Aid, Fall Protection, Aerial Work Platform, and related certifications would be an asset.
