Are you a CG Animator looking for your next opportunity? Our Vancouver studio is looking for a CG Animator to join the team for a 6 week contract starting May 25th! **Candidates for this role must be able to start as of May 25, 2026. Due to the quick turn around time for this role we will only be accepting applications until 5:00pm PDT.**

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Animate in a team environment on a sequence of shots within a series schedule.
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of performance, posing, timing, weight, and lip-sync.
  • Take direction from Supervisors and Leads.
  • Meet deadlines as assigned by production management.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • 1+ years of prior experience as a CG Animator on a CG animated series or feature.
  • Knowledge of Maya animation tools.
  • Ability to communicate creative and technical thoughts and ideas.
  • Background in visual arts/design with a strong understanding of form, geometry, and movement.
  • Knowledge of dynamics is an asset.
  • Currently legally eligible to work in Canada.
  • Current BC Residents are preferred for this role.

START DATE: May 25, 2026

  • Applicants must have resided within BC as of December 31, 2025 and be able to provide the appropriate supporting documents.
    - All Atomic employees in this role have the opportunity to work remotely within BC, artists within Vancouver and the Lower Mainland can also choose hybrid and in-studio options. 

At Atomic Cartoons and Blue Ant Studios, we take into consideration a wide range of compensation factors including background, skills, location, and experience to determine competitive pay. In addition to competitive pay, *this position is eligible for company-sponsored benefits including medical, GRSP, vacation pay, paid holiday break, paid leave,*and a variety of other discounts and perks. Please note: This expected pay range is for British Columbia and is not applicable to locations outside of the province of British Columbia.

Wage ranges are based on a weekly rate.

Vancouver Pay Range

$1,100—$1,650 CAD
