Do you hold a recognized industrial mechanics certification from Canada or abroad? We are looking for an experienced Industrial Mechanic to join a Quebec-based marine company specializing in shipbuilding, vessel repair, and marine services in the heart of the St. Lawrence River.
Located in L’Isle-aux-Coudres, in the Capitale-Nationale region, daily life is all about bike rides, sunsets over the river, and outdoor activities in a peaceful setting far from the pace of the city.
Job duties include:
- Installing, adjusting, and repairing mechanical systems on vessels under construction or in dry dock (marine and industrial maintenance).
- Operating lifting equipment and tools, dismantling and reassembling machinery and mechanical equipment components.
- Participating in testing and commissioning of mechanical systems during installation projects.
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial and marine piping systems.
- Performing preventive maintenance, routine servicing, and repairs on equipment and machinery.
- Carrying out preventive inspections and troubleshooting fixed and mobile equipment.
- Performing all other related duties as required.

Requirements:
- Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in mechanics, plumbing and heating, or another related field (industrial maintenance, mechanical maintenance, or equivalent).
- Experience with diesel mechanics and piping system installation/repair.
- Experience in a shipyard environment is a strong asset.
- Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Schedule: 40 hours per week.
