Organization: Alignerr (Powered by Labelbox) Type: Hourly / Task-Based Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
Transcribe real-world Air Traffic Control (ATC) and pilot audio recordings with high accuracy Label speakers, callsigns, clearances, instructions, and read-backs Correctly capture aviation terminology, abbreviations, and standard phraseology Work on task-based assignments at your own pace and schedule Maintain quality and accuracy standards critical to AI training integrity

You don't need to be a professional transcriptionist — but you do need to genuinely understand aviation communications.

A pilot, student pilot, air traffic controller, or aviation professional An aviation enthusiast who regularly listens to live or recorded ATC feeds Someone who instinctively understands aviation radio phraseology and callsign formats Extremely detail-oriented and patient with noisy, fast-paced audio Self-motivated and able to meet quality benchmarks independently
Nice To Have
Experience with transcription tools or annotation platforms Familiarity with ICAO or FAA communication standards Background in aviation dispatch, ground operations, or flight simulation
