About Us Key Dental Laboratory is a specialized dental lab focused on full-arch implant prosthetics. We work with leading clinicians across North America to deliver precise, high-quality All-on-X restorations through advanced digital workflows. The Role We're looking for an experienced CAD/CAM Designer who knows full-arch implant cases inside and out. You'll be working primarily in Exocad, designing complex prostheses bridges, dentures, and All-on-X frameworks for real patients and demanding clinicians. Accuracy and attention to morphological detail aren't optional here; they're the baseline. This is a hands-on, production-facing role. You'll collaborate closely with dental practitioners and lab technicians at every stage of the digital workflow from interpreting clinical specifications to final design approval ensuring every case moves through production cleanly and meets our quality standards before it ever hits the mill. What You'll Do Design full-arch All-on-X prostheses, implant-supported bridges, and complete dentures using Exocad and related CAD platforms Review case documentation, scans, and clinician instructions to accurately interpret clinical and laboratory specifications Prepare digital models ensuring correct alignment, occlusion, and aesthetics for each patient-specific case Manage design projects from initial concept through final approval, meeting production timelines without compromising quality Collaborate with dental practitioners and lab technicians throughout the fabrication process, communicating clearly on case status and design modifications Maintain detailed records of design changes and case history Identify and flag fit, occlusion, or design concerns before cases proceed to production Troubleshoot CAD/CAM system issues and proactively recommend workflow improvements Ensure all designs comply with applicable industry standards, medical device regulations, and patient-specific requirements What We're Looking For Required: 4–5+ years of CAD/CAM design experience in a dental laboratory setting this is not an entry-level role Hands-on Exocad proficiency with a demonstrated portfolio of full-arch implant cases designed and delivered Strong working knowledge of dental anatomy, occlusion, implant prosthetic principles, and dental terminology Solid understanding of digital impression workflows, scan data interpretation, and milling/printing output requirements Prior experience working directly in a dental laboratory environment Detail-oriented, self-directed work style with strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Preferred / Bonus: Experience with 3Shape, Dental Wings, or other CAD platforms in addition to Exocad Familiarity with bar frameworks, screw-retained hybrids, or full-arch zirconia designs Background in dental assisting or clinical support, providing insight into chair-side workflows Familiarity with medical device quality standards and regulations applicable to dental prosthetics (e.g., Health Canada, ISO 13485) Laboratory experience with hands-on prosthetics fabrication processes What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience A focused, experienced team where your work genuinely matters Exposure to complex, high-value full-arch implant cases A collaborative environment that supports professional growth in digital dentistry Stable, full-time position with room to grow as our lab scales How to Apply Send your resume and a brief note about your Exocad experience, including the types of full-arch cases you've designed, to info@implantgenius.com.
