We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Aluminum Welder to join our morning shift team. This position requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities: Build skids/base frames and structural frames of all sizes. Perform high-quality aluminum welding using primarily GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG) welding processes. (CWB GTAW and GMAW ticket required) Perform Fluxcore (FCAW) welding (valid CWB Flat Fluxcore ticket required). Fit and weld according to blueprint drawings. Use equipment such as grinders, torches, chop saws, drill presses, and hand tools. Conduct stainless steel MIG wire welding for heat exchangers. Perform aluminum and stainless steel sheet metal welding. Participate in all safety meetings and follow company safety protocols. Maintain high-quality, consistent welds (primarily in flat position). Requirements Valid CWBGTAW and GMAW ticket required (minimum). Fitting experience and blueprint reading ability. Red Seal Journeyman ticket required Knowledge of raw materials, production, and QC inspection process. WHMIS and OSSA training (asset). Strong judgment, focus, and ability to work in a team environment. Tools Required Welding helmet 5" Grinder 1’ & 2’ squares / combination square Clamps (vice grip or bessey) Hammer & center punch Extension cord Die grinder (straight or 90°) Flashlight, wire cutters, chipping hammer Working Hours: Morning Shift; Monday – Thursday, 6am – 3:30pm & Friday, 6am – 2:30pm Compensation & Benefits Competitive Wages – Based on experience and trade tickets.
