Duties

• Read/receive instruction and follow through with understanding, efficiency and accuracy.

• Ask appropriate questions for clarity, as needed.

• Comply with company policies and procedures while contributing input for improved productivity, quality, construction systems and customer-service standards.

• Work closely with team members to successfully execute and complete projects.

• Execute renovation projects efficiently and effectively, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications and timelines.

• Perform a wide range of carpentry and construction tasks, including framing, drywall installation, flooring, forming, underpinning window and door installation, cabinetry, and trim work and other tasks relevant to construction renovations.

• Understand cause and effect to safely demolish and remove existing structures, fixtures, and materials as needed.

• Interpret and follow architectural blueprints and project plans accurately to achieve the desired renovation outcomes.

• Take precise measurements and perform layout work to ensure accurate installations and alignment of materials.

• Operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and used safely.

• Procure, transport and handle construction materials, tools, and equipment, as necessary, ensuring proper storage and organization on the job site.

• Work together with the project manager and/or site lead while on site to successfully execute and complete the project in a timely and cost-effective manner.

• Train, lead and encourage the learning co-workers when working in a team on site.

• Ensure a safe, clean, and healthy workplace by adhering to standards, enforcing procedures, and complying with legal regulations. Additionally, clean and organize the job site for each renovation phase and lead and/or perform end-of-day cleanup to eliminate hazards and maintain a pristine environment.

• Assist in regular safety checks and inspections of equipment and work areas and report unsafe work conditions.

• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for the site and the task at hand.

• Participate in responsible waste disposal and environmentally conscious practices on site.

• Train, lead and encourage the learning co-workers when working in a team on site.

• Direct potential leads for new work to Bay Point Sales
