Operate and monitor computerized control systems and related equipment to regulate the treatment and distribution of water. Operate and monitor computerized control systems and related equipment to regulate the flow of sewage and to treat and dispose of sewage and wastes. Patrol plant to check pumps, motors, filters, chlorinators and other plant equipment. Read recording instruments to measure output and consumption levels, bacterial content, chlorine and fluoride levels. Transport and mix chemicals, and operate equipment used to unload chemicals. Water Distribution Certificate (Levels I, II, III or IV). Water Treatment Certificate (Levels I, II, III or IV). Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail.
