Overview We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing and be capable of working on various construction projects. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work collaboratively with other construction professionals. As a Concrete Finisher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that concrete surfaces are smooth, level, and aesthetically pleasing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up concrete forms according to project specifications.
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Finish surfaces of poured concrete using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to achieve desired texture and appearance.
• Inspect finished surfaces for quality and make necessary adjustments as needed.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and guidelines.
• Assist in heavy lifting and moving of materials as required during the finishing process.

Skills

• Proficient in heavy lifting techniques to handle materials safely.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment related to concrete finishing tasks.
• Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues on-site.
• Experience with welding techniques is a plus.
• Familiarity with carpentry skills for formwork construction.
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading and schematics for accurate project execution.
• Proficient in the use of power tools essential for concrete finishing tasks.
• Knowledge of masonry techniques is beneficial for specific project requirements.
• Ability to renovate existing structures while adhering to design specifications.
