The Role The Health & Safety Manager will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of health and safety programs across a dynamic technical environment. This hands-on leader will help ensure compliance, strengthen risk management practices, and support the organization’s growth.
Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety programs aligned with provincial regulations. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and program teams. Perform risk assessments, audits, and inspections. Lead incident investigations, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions. Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies and external stakeholders. Track, analyze, and report on safety performance metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives. Monitor regulatory changes and ensure ongoing compliance with applicable legislation.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field. 5+ years of experience in an EHS role within a technical, manufacturing, or regulated environment. Strong knowledge of provincial EHS regulations. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving capabilities.
