Assembly Lead
Advance Wire Products Ltd. – Surrey, BC
Advance Wire Products (AWP) builds custom retail displays used across North America—from grocery and pharmacy to kiosks and beyond. We’ve been doing this since 1953, and we’re still growing.
We’ve just landed a new product line and are putting together a new team to support it. We’re looking for a hands-on Assembly Lead who can help build, guide, and level up that team.
If you like working with your hands, solving problems, and leading from the floor—not a desk—you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Be Doing

Set up and run job orders based on drawings and specs

Lead a small team—train, support, and keep things moving

Work closely with the Charge Hand and Manager to hit production targets

Troubleshoot issues and keep quality high

Look for ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs

Keep your workspace organized and safe

Use a mix of tools and equipment to get the job done
What We’re Looking For

Comfortable reading and working from drawings
-
Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment

Someone who can juggle multiple jobs without dropping the ball

Strong attention to quality and detail

A reliable track record when it comes to attendance and safety

Forklift certification is a bonus
Schedule
-
Day Shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm (Monday to Friday)
and/or -
Afternoon Shift: 3:30pm – 12:30am (Mon–Thurs), early finish Fridays
