Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Millwright role based in Sarnia, ON. The Millwright is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing production and processing equipment to support continuous operations. Day-to-day tasks include performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical issues, and troubleshooting equipment failures to minimize downtime. The role involves assembling, aligning, and testing machinery, using hand tools and power tools, and collaborating with operations and maintenance teams to ensure safe and efficient plant performance. The Millwright also completes work orders, follows safety procedures, and assists with equipment upgrades and improvements as needed. Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in preventive maintenance and maintenance & repair of industrial equipment. Ability to diagnose issues and perform effective troubleshooting on production machinery and systems. Proficiency in safe use of power tools and hand tools in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Relevant trade certification or apprenticeship as a Millwright (or equivalent), and familiarity with industrial safety standards. Ability to read technical drawings and manuals, and follow structured maintenance schedules. Good communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience in plastics, manufacturing, or related industrial settings is an asset.
