As the Insertion Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the dissemination of public assistance benefits, Child Support, MNCARE, MAXIS, MMIS and various documents for several other State Agencies at the Issuance Operation Center (IOC).
This position requires the incumbent to have basic knowledge of the operation of BlueCrest insertion machines and various mailing equipment. Must have good communication skills to work with Customers, Vendors, Equipment Support and Management to ensure all print file are printed accurately and timely.
Responsibilities Include But May Not Be Limited To
Responsible for setting up, operating, diagnosing malfunctions andtrouble shooting problems with high-speed inserting machines. Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of mailing and documents by performing a variety of processing functions.
Minimum Qualifications
To facilitate proper crediting, please ensure that your resume clearly describes your experience in the areas listed and indicates the beginning and ending month, day and year for each job held.** Customer Service Skills sufficient to provide prompt, courteous, and accurate information to internal and external partners. Database, Documents, and Records Management skills sufficient to be able to maintain records required by the U.S. Postal Service. Physical Demands sufficient to be able to lift up to 40 pounds, roll rolls of paper (500+ pounds) with assistance, and stand for long periods of time and sufficient to troubleshooting large, high-speed insertion machines such as BlueCrest.
Preferred Qualifications
Basic knowledge and experience of the operation of BlueCrest insertion machines. Knowledge and understanding of work and operations performed at the IOC. Knowledge of Data Privacy issues. Knowledge of paper stock, envelopes, inserts, batch identification, etc. Experience troubleshooting mechanical equipment. Experience in the operation of printers, inserters, sorter and its peripheral equipment. Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures.
