Overview We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team. This role involves supporting various construction projects through physical labor, assisting skilled tradespeople, and contributing to the successful completion of building and renovation tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and an interest in construction-related activities. Prior experience with hand tools, carpentry, or blueprint reading is a plus but not required. Duties

• Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials
• Use hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and caulking guns to support various tasks
• Support carpentry work, including framing, drywall installation, and finishing
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements
• Perform demolition work and site restoration as needed
• Assist with construction painting, flooring installation, tile laying, plumbing, welding, and other specialized tasks under supervision
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment
• Support team members by carrying materials, mixing substances like mortar or concrete, and performing general labor tasks

Skills

• Proficiency with hand tools and basic construction equipment
• Knowledge of construction processes including carpentry, restoration, painting, plumbing, welding, flooring installation, and tile laying is preferred but not mandatory
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Willingness to learn new skills related to construction trades
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
