Job Title: Endoscopy Technologist Position Details Location: St Josephs Main and Childrens Status: Full Time, Exempt: No Shift Hours: 6:30a - 3:00p Weekend Work: None On Call: No Requirements Certification: Required – BLS (Basic Life Support) Education Required – High School or Equivalent Experience Preferred – 1 year – Related field Responsibilities Performs direct and indirect patient care tasks . Assists with admissions, discharges and transfers of patients within the endoscopy suite , holding, and recovery areas. Orients patients and significant others to the unit . Maintains environment by cleaning and storing equipment, disposing of linens, and stocking supplies Keeps patient areas clear of trash and clutter, cleans, disinfects and sterilizes endoscopy equipment and stretchers On-call/weekend shifts Demonstrates interpersonal and critical thinking skills. What you’ll do

Performs direct and indirect patient care tasks, including assisting with admissions, discharges, and transfers within the endoscopy suite. Responsible for maintaining the environment by cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing endoscopy equipment and stretchers.

Requirements

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and BLS certification. One year of experience in a related field is preferred.
