Field Service Technician Full-time, Permanent Location: Remote –Victoria, BC (Candidates must live on the Island) Hours: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM + Overtime- depends they can be on call: time and half Weekends: every 6 weeks Base Salary: $24 – $40.21/hour- this includes premiums Increase after 3 months. BC Class B or Class C Gas Fitter certification/ticket is mandatory. Previous experience servicing commercial kitchen equipment is highly desirable. Candidates with an Appliance Technician certification and strong experience working within a fast-paced appliance service or repair environment will also be considered. Strong hands-on troubleshooting capabilities involving electrical, mechanical, plumbing and gas systems. DEP in Electromechanics, or a diploma/certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Electromechanical, Appliance Service/Repair or a related technical discipline, is an asset. Equivalent hands-on technical experience will also be considered. Ability to diagnose equipment problems and perform repairs, adjustments, alignments and calibrations. Comfortable working independently and travelling throughout an assigned service territory. Strong customer-service, interpersonal and communication skills. Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Valid driver's licence with an excellent driving record. Willing and able to travel for technical training as required. Available for overtime and participation in the on-call rotation.

Requirements
