Diagnose and perform preventative maintenance and complex repairs on engines at customer sites. Maintain detailed service records and adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies.
Job Summary: Diagnoses and completes less complex repairs to engines at the customer’s site. Will make an impact in the following ways: Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products Maintain own tools Responsibilities In order to be successful in this role you will need the following: Completes complex internal engine repairs Performs engine overhauls unassisted Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software Compensation and Benefits Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Qualifications Fort McMurray (Local) 7x7 rotational days and nights 5 years’ experience required in heavy equipment, mining industry Heavy equipment Technician - Offroad / Red Seal Certification required Valid driver’s license Must be able to pass drug and alcohol testing This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Requires 5 years of experience in heavy equipment or the mining industry and a Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician certification. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and be able to pass drug and alcohol testing.
