The purpose of the role is to provide assurance through verification of product against drawing / visual criteria. Day to day tasks include inspection of product, recording of inspection results and supporting all stakeholders in inspection related activities. Nationality Requirements Candidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for the role, due to the nature of the programmes we deliver for our customers. Job Description Key Responsibilities Mechanical and Visual Inspection of products to drawing, providing clear feedback on findings. Make suggestions for process improvements Identification of Non-conforming material and providing clear objective evidence for MRB's Proactively address conformance issues and concerns Promote Culture of Quality and Continuous Improvement Ensure all equipment used to carry out inspection activities are within calibration Report of non-conforming parts or material to relevant project / Quality teams Undertake and complete additional tasks, as assigned Skills, Qualification And Experience IPC 610 and or 620 Visual Inspection Mechanical inspection Drawing, MEI and VDS interpretation MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Working Knowledge of IFS ERP an advantage but not essential Personal Attributes Logical and methodical approach to problem solving An ability to deliver under pressure with an appetite for measured success Collaborative working with people with a diverse range of backgrounds A positive, proactive attitude with a high level of self-motivation to deliver excellence Good Time management Reliable and able to work with minimum supervision Well organized and delivery focused Good communication skills, both written and oral Typically, a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 5+ years experience in assembly and test or 2+ years experience in Quality Inspection.
