SonoCon 2026 - Sonographers / Ultrasound Technologists - Competition #2026-780 Position Status: Regular, Full-time and Part-Time (1.0 - 0.8 FTE) EFW Radiology is currently seeking Ultrasound Technologists to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional patient care! About EFW: EFW Radiology owns and operates twelve community-based clinics providing Diagnostic Imaging, Maternal Fetal Medicine, and Pain Management services. The Role: Ultrasound Technologists perform ultrasound examinations in an efficient and effective manner while providing exceptional patient care. Reporting to: Ultrasound Supervisor. Role Overview Ensures exceptional patient care and experience by performing various ultrasound exams (abdomen, Ob/Gyn, small parts, breast, and vascular). Gathers relevant patient history and information for preparation. Evaluates ultrasound images promptly to aid in diagnoses. Completes accurate documentation for each scan. Collaborates closely with Radiologists. Maintains a positive work environment through professional conduct and strong teamwork. Adheres to all privacy and confidentiality policies and procedures. Demonstrates EFW values of Compassion, Trust, and Meaning in the workplace. Undertakes additional duties as assigned. You Have The Following Diploma or certificate from a recognized Diagnostic Medical Sonography program, including a minimum of 2 years of clinical practicum. Credentialed member of Sonography Canada with liability insurance. Valid and current registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT) and license to practice in Alberta. Ability to scan 12–14 cases per day, consistently obtaining good quality images. Committed to providing professional and compassionate patient care. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to give clear instructions and ask questions when needed. Strong team player comfortable interacting with other team members and working independently Logical, analytical, and critical thinking abilities. Strong computer and keyboarding skills, including a working knowledge of RIS software (including PACS). Why EFW? Requirements

Applicants must have a diploma or certificate from a recognized Diagnostic Medical Sonography program, including at least two years of clinical practicum, and be credentialed with Sonography Canada with liability insurance. They must hold current Alberta registration and a license to practice, be able to scan 12–14 cases per day while producing quality images, and demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, critical-thinking, computer, and RIS/PACS skills.
