Job Code: 25926 Status: Full Time Location: Providence Care Hospital Union: OPSEU 4104 Paramedical Wage: $37.24 - $42.51 Posting Period: July 17, 2026 - July 23, 2026 Working as part of a collaborative care team and with the direction of the Program Manager, the Behaviour Technologist will carry out behavioural assessment and time-limited treatment of individuals with an identified diagnosis, following an order for treatment being placed. The Behaviour Technologist will provide recommendations regarding data collection, complete functional behavioural assessments, develop and implement behaviour protocols/plans/treatment and develop data monitoring protocols and complete associated documentation. In addition, the Behaviour Technologist will provide training to staff and family members as necessary. What you’ll do

The Behaviour Technologist will complete comprehensive behavioural assessments and develop treatment strategies in collaboration with the interprofessional team. They will also provide leadership and education to promote the integration of behaviour therapy principles into client care plans.

Requirements

Candidates must have a Diploma in Behavioural Science Technology or a Bachelor of Applied Arts Degree in Behavioural Psychology, along with a minimum of three years of relevant experience. Experience in working with adults with complex diagnoses and in staff training is preferred.
