Summary Of Duties We have an opportunity for a Neurophysiology Technologist in EEG, to work in the Neurophysiology Lab on a Casual basis. The EEG Technologist plays an essential role in the diagnosis of neurological disorders, including seizures and traumatic brain injuries. Qualifications/Skills Registered with the Canadian Board of Registration of Electroneurophysiology Technologists (CBRET) – requirement Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certificate is preferred Minimum of two (2) years of recent practical experience in EEG is preferred Ability to work independently, as well as a member of a team in outpatient, inpatient and ICU settings Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal and time-management skills Demonstrated effective technical, decision making and problem solving skills Excellent patient care skills Motivated, independent learner Commitment to and participation in quality improvement activities

The Neurophysiology Technologist performs EEG procedures to assist in the diagnosis of neurological disorders such as seizures and traumatic brain injuries. They provide essential patient care across outpatient, inpatient, and ICU settings.

Candidates must be registered with the CBRET and preferably hold a current BCLS certificate. A minimum of two years of recent practical experience in EEG is preferred.
