About the role
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Install electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures and other electrical components. Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance. Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactors. Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices. Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records. Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Safety glasses/goggles. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year. Employment terms options: Evening. Morning. Day. Weekend.
