Brief Description The Finishing Technician is responsible for performing in all areas of finishing including Grading, Strapping and Forklift. The Finishing Technician is also responsible for the maintenance of prescribed quantity and quality of product produced. Other responsibilities include troubleshooting machine basic performance, making adjustments and calling for additional resources as required. Requirements Key Responsibilities Model Company core values Follow Health & Safety policies and programs Prepare pallets/carts for finished products Bundle and stack finished product according to specifications Check quality of final product Wrap, strap and label units and put into storage with lift truck Ensure SKU machines are set up correctly Make dunnage for pallets/carts and strapping of finished units Maintain lift truck in proper working condition Assist operators in maintenance and cleanup Keep work area clean Perform other duties as assigned or requested Ability to work safely Ability to work alone, self-motivated but also must be a team player Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to use a measuring tape Basic computer skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language Exceptionally self-motivated and directed. Energetic, forward-thinking and creative with high ethical standards Keen attention to detail Required Qualifications Proof of High School diploma, G.E.D. certificate Preferred Qualifications Forklift experience would be considered an asset

Requirements

A high school diploma or GED is required, along with the ability to work safely, independently, and as part of a team, and to lift up to 50 pounds. Candidates must be able to use a measuring tape and have basic computer, communication, and interpersonal skills; forklift experience is an asset.
